A France–Algeria package entrusted to a traveler must be opened and described precisely before acceptance. The traveler then checks customs, company rules and the necessary supporting documents: a CN22 or CN23 postal form is not automatically sufficient for accompanied baggage.
The traveler must know exactly what he is carrying. An opaque package, already closed or vaguely described should be refused. For a valuable item, a medicine or a regulated commodity, bring the appropriate documents and ask for confirmation from the competent authorities.
Algeria is outside the European Union. The nature, quantity, value and purpose of the goods may result in formalities. Forms CN22 or CN23 concern postal shipments and do not constitute an automatic response for a package carried in a traveler's luggage.
External batteries, spare batteries and electronic cigarettes must not be placed in the hold. Liquids in the cabin are regulated. An airline may apply additional restrictions.
France Diplomatie recommends, for personal treatment to Algeria, to keep medicines in their original packaging with their labels and a prescription using their international common name. Entrusting medications intended for another person requires increased caution and prior verification with the authorities.
Kimia makes it easy to get in touch. The platform does not guarantee the presence of a journey on a given date and does not replace customs, the airline, or legal advice.

CN23 concerns postal shipments. For a package placed in the baggage accompanied by a traveler, you must check the formalities applicable to the passenger and the goods transported.
Medicines are sensitive. For personal treatment, keep the packaging and prescription. For treatment intended for a third party, request specific confirmation from the authorities before departure.
Rules may change. Always check the latest version with the authorities and the airline.
